POP UP ART BY SITESPECIFIC

by Dalit Nemirovsky | 27.11.12

For one weekend, a group of Ten established and emerging artists will participate in an art exhibition by Sitespecific in the new space at the Kastiel design complex in Tel Aviv. All the artworks will be for sale.
Established artists such as Tamir Lahav-Radlmesser, Naomi Zucker and Samy D, will present their work alongside intriguing graduates of art academies such as Keren Ella Gefen, Nimrod Reuveni, Vered Aharonovitch and Nir Segal.

This event is the first of a series of public events produced by Site Specific – a young art agency managed by Hila Peres and Yohai Barak. The agency acts as a link between artists and the collector/gallery, accompanies them through the various phases of their professional evolvement, and works with the artists to enhance their basic business skills by creating a methodology and infrastructure, thereby helping the artists develop as an independent economic unit.

The first event will take place this weekend –

kastiel always does the best design events, their furniture is gorgeous and the front of the store is always dedicated to new and emerging israeli designers. i have had the pleasure of being in their store for fashion and design events and always love their curatorial eye and the the kastiel family’s willingness to support new work. anything they do is a must see.
