Three years ago, textile and interior designer Ossy Pri Hadash formed “Recycle by Ossy” – a project she created with great passion not only for design but for recycling as well. These two combined created a meticulous work of art. Using thousands of corks of used drinking bottles, (coke, sprite etc,.) inserted horizontally and vertically onto a fabric, Ossy creates with  the right construction and the right use of color a clear visible image. She started out with images of well known figures such as  Jacqueline Onassis, Marlon Brando as the Godfather, Che Guevara, Mahatma Gandhi and more and continued with creating specially commissioned images. In addition, Ossy has a line of light source objects, benches and other home objects all created from recycled corks.
